This isn't going to be easy! Day 1, Week 1 C25K

I made it through half of day one! Oh my, I have to say, this isn't easy. I want to say I am terribly disappointed, but I am not. I got through 4 cycles and did a few laps of walking, 7,000 steps in all.

I will not give up. I will keep doing day one over until I complete it! It will be my own version of Ground Hog Day!

I definitely need to go get some good running shoes and I will need to make sure I get to bed earlier the nights before I run.

I will be back to post on Friday with the good, the bad and the ugly.

Great job! The trick is to try and not get discouraged when you aren't doing exactly what the plan is specifying. You can try 30 seconds of jogging and a couple minutes of walking as well for a week to see if that's easier. The goal is to build a nice base that will allow you to increase the amount and speed you run without having to worry about injury.

Thanks for the input, I am definitely leaning toward that concept. I am just going to walk jog for a couple of weeks to build my endurance.
